About The Lion’s Pit
The Lion’s Pit is a legaltech innovation competition where participants compete to develop solutions for real-world legal industry challenges. It forms part of TechLaw.Fest 2026, taking place from 9 to 10 September 2026. This year marks the conference’s 11th edition and coincides with the bicentenary of Singapore’s modern legal system, jointly organised by the Singapore Academy of Law and Singapore’s Ministry of Law.
A Fitting Role for Lim Seng Siew
Lim Seng Siew brings substantial credentials to the judging panel. Beyond his role as Director at OTP Law, he serves on various technology related committees of the Law Society of Singapore, where he has been closely involved in shaping how the legal profession engages with AI tools and their governance. He is also Chief Examiner for the Bar course and a regular seminar presenter on practical and ethical uses of AI for lawyers, including a recent session for the Personal Injury and Property Damage practice group.
This combination of hands-on technology work and Law Society leadership positions him well to assess how competing teams balance innovation with the practical and ethical demands of legal practice.
