Our director, Lim Seng Siew, was Chief Lion, ie Chief Judge, of the Lion’s Pit 2026.
The Lion’s Pit is part of Techlaw.Fest 2026, an event organised by the Singapore Academy of Law and the Singapore Ministry of Law. The Lion’s Pit is a legaltech innovation competition where participants will compete to develop solutions to solve real-world legal industry challenges curated from industry leaders and key stakeholders.
The 3 finalists had to pitch to the judges under a very tight time constraints. They had to answer the Lion’s (Judge’s) questions and comments which were sharp and gave rise to thoughtful follow-on discussions. Each of the finalists had their ideas put to a stringent test by the judges. The energy in the room was fantastic with claps, cheers and confetti cannons going pop!
